Leah Duncan

I’m pretty much in love with everything in Leah Duncan’s shop these days. There’s so many pretty illustrations (with a lovely color palette too, I might add) that makes me want to start collecting them all and surround myself with them all at once. Luckily there’s quite a range of products in her shop that will allow you to do so if you’re really in the mood to do so – there’s tea towels, pillow cases, prints and scarves, oh my!

Her story is an inspiring one as well – in 2008 she left her job as a graphic designer having racked up experience in advertising and a screen printing companies and moved to Austin, where she taught herself illustration, sewing and surface design. The rest, as they say is history. Catch up with her via her blog and see more at her website.

I love the amazing textures that fills the work of Tatsuro Kiuchi
Most of them look like screenprints – there’s layers of colors and beautiful edges that makes it special. His technique of using warm color palettes and the various textures he adds into his work often reminds me of illustrated posters in the 1950s.

A lot of his personal work features his dog, Chai, who I think I’m in love with!

See more of his work over at his website and buy some of his artwork over at 20×200.
