Amy Blackwell

“Oh fiddlesticks. I should have gone to the loo before I zipped up.”

You know how some people can make a fox look… well… foxy? Well that honor would have to go to Amy Blackwell, because I’m head over heels in love with her illustrations of cats, dogs and foxes. My favorite has got to be The Little Blue Dog / Cat (pictured above) because I can’t resist a dog in a woolly patchwork full-suit cardy. For now though, I would have to rein myself in as I’ve just gotten my wedding bands custom made by an artist over on Etsy for my marriage ceremony (the official signing, not the hoopla!) and so things are a little tight at the moment.

You can keep up with her on her blog, and you’d better hurry on to her shop because she’s having a sale right now.

Scoot!

p/s—I’m going to be finalizing the items for August’s PikaPackage Project which will launch early next week (hint, hint!), including the last and biggest update on the participants; and I’m still waiting for some of the participants’ reply. I received a lot of emails + love from you guys —thank you!— so please bear with me until I get my bearings back to write a proper response, yes? 🙂

Have a happy, happy Friday!
