Gary Venn is an illustrator based in New Zealand who is working on his first childrens book. He has been shortlisted for a NZ Illustrators prize – the Storylines Gavin Bishop Illustration Award (2010) and is regularly commissioned for magazines. His style is primarily made up of digital collages, but I do like the hand-drawn lines that are evident in his earlier works as well.

The work is quite innovative for an illustrator.
I like that.
