Aren’t these papercuts by Mayuko Fujino of planetplatonic the most awesome ever? The best thing is that they aren’t just papercuts, but also collages mixed in.
Her works are all created with an X-Acto knife, Washi (Japanese handmade paper), and magazine papers.
I’m also loving the papercuts that she did in conjunction with Dia de los Muertos. You can see more of her work at her portfolio site.
My little typographic heart is break dancing and more than likely doing the worm right now over these lettering sketchbooks from London based illustrator/designer Linzie Hunter. Also, how awesome is the letter arrangement of her name?
Ever wanted to have a font that’s made up of your own handwriting? Well your wish just came true. FontCapture does exactly that.
Have fun experimenting!
