PikaPackage: Natasha Mileshina of Bubbo Tubbo

Communication print

I first found Natasha through her Flickr stream a year ago — I remember telling her how much I love her lettering and art, and I usually kept up with her via her photos. I was thrilled when she started selling her prints in her shop, and was so happy when she came along for the first PikaPackage Project!

Recently, she is focusing a lot on her polymer clay creations — turning her sketches into solid, 3-D forms with a series called Deditos. We wrote about her previously, and we’re excited that she’s a part of the PikaPackage Project!

PikaPackage: Kate Phillips

The delicate operation – (limited edition print)

Kate Phillips is a Scottish artists who is currently residing in the Bay City Area. Her drawings and paintings are made using encaustic painting — an ancient technique which is a layering of bees wax/resin and pigments fused together with a blowtorch. Kate traps found images, old paper and thread between these layers to produce unique art forms.
