Call for the the July PikaPackage Project!

I’ve sent out an email newsletter to those on the mailing list, and silly me forgot to blog about the call for contributions for the July PikaPackage Project!

If you’re an illustrator or and artist who has an online shop, you’re invited to join in on the fun! You can see what happened for our first PikaPackage Project, and also visit out flickr page for the list of previous jolly participants and their fantastic wares.

{You can email me or go on to this page with a contact form to reach me for further info.}

Kyoto observations

I’ll be easing up on the posting, and will be relying on automatic postings for the next week as I try to soak in Kyoto as much as I can before I leave! 🙂 I received a lot of emails, and although I might be a little late in responding, rest assured that I will be reading them all, and will get back to you as soon as I can.

Happy Memorial Day weekend to those who are celebrating!

Presto Bingo

Presto Bingo is the work of husband and wife team of Joyce Hesselberth and David Plunkert. Together, they also run an illustration studio named Spur Design where they’ve worked with clients from MTV Networks, The New Yorker, Time Magazine and many more.

They recently took some time to work on a more personal project — a line of fine art prints for kids’ rooms that features colorful animals, robots and aliens in print at their Presto Bingo shop, that I think would liven up a child’s room brilliantly.
