Kimita Kubayashi

I do not understand Kimita Kubayashi’s verbal language, but I do understand her visual language. I believe she might be saying “creatively…do what you want!”

As an artist your medium can be like a telephone. Are you texting, Twittering, emailing, or perhaps creating a long conversation? What medium will best express what you are trying to say?

Joe Rowell

I have been a Greek mythology geek for as long as I can remember. It started when my mom bought me a ton of books and encyclopedia that talks about Medusa and Zeus, or his wife Hera and also of Persephone. I also remember the illustrations that went with each story; the opening of Pandora’s box, and the whole 50-strong Argonauts setting sail to find Jason’s golden fleece.

So it was wonderful to chance upon Joe Rowell’s Etsy shop where he has illustrated a series of work on Greek mythology while in London. It sure does make me want to read up on all the gods and goddesses all over again!
