Love these quirky, simple illustrations by Amy Walters from the UK who sells her selection of hand drawn accessories and paper goods over at Etsy. I originally discovered her via Flickr (and over at Pikaland’s Flickr group).

Love these cheery patterns that Tad Carpenter designed for Case-Mate! My favorite is the flower pattern (the first on the left, above). Bonus: listen to Tad speak about his job in the video above – I love seeing his characters popping up all over the place!

Christina Vagenius of Heart Box Studio is a self-taught artist and her work is one of the brightest and cheeriest I’ve ever come across. She uses recycled books, journals and other assorted materials to create shadowbox art and illustrations which she sells in her Etsy shop! She also recently finished a book called The Gift, a three dimensional children’s book created using vintage and discarded books and journals.

As our sponsor for the month of December, she’s giving away a USD$50 gift voucher, fully redeemable at her Etsy shop to ONE lucky Pikaland reader!

Just leave your comments in this post to be in the running and we’ll randomly pick out a winner after the 20th of December 2011!
The contest has ended and the winner has been picked by random.org – Elisa! 🙂 Thanks everyone for joining in the contest!
Hi there and welcome to Pikaland! This is my personal playground where I write and research about art, creativity, and the pursuit of art entrepreneurship. Enjoy!
