If you’ve held back on doing something, whether it’s kickstarting your own business or if you’re hesitant about typing out that first post on your new blog, isn’t it about time you started? December is ending soon, and there’s nothing like the smell of a new year, inching along quickly to kick yourself into gear.
I’m asking myself the same question on a daily basis these days – the question is, are you?

Singapore-based shop Hug a Porcupine makes these adorable enamel origami pins that rock my socks! They also have necklaces and various other fun designs, most of them in delicious candy colors.
On a side note, looking at their collection takes me back to when I was in primary school, where I used to collect colorful plastic toys and contraptions that came together with my Ding-Dang and Tora snacks, for some reason. Both of them were popular snacks bought by school-going children here in Malaysia – and well, I usually threw away the chocolates (they don’t exactly taste the best) and kept the toy instead!
And with that random snippet of nostalgia, it’s time to end the weekend with a bang — happy weekend folks!
Can you believe we’ve covered 40 illustrated calendars this year? Round five shows 8 more of my favorite calendars and I have to say that the talent this year is amazing! I wish I had more than 3 rooms though, because hanging a few calendars in one room sounds awfully silly.
For those who came a little late to our calendar party, here’s part #1, #2, #3, and #4 and I think it’s safe to say that you can slowly put 2011’s calendar aside and primp up that nook for your brand new calendar very soon. I can’t believe how time flies!
