Mary Kilvert is based in the UK, and does illustrations for the editorial, advertising and publishing industry. Her works are produced by using fine line pens, watercolour, collage and digital colour.
She has a lovely selection of prints and buttons in her shop, and my favourite one from her collection is her Fairylands print. She also just started a blog where I thought her illustration for the article here to be very well executed.
As I come from an architecture-based background, I’ve always loved illustrations that are based on places, buildings and surroundings. Janice J’s drawings capture what she sees (with a heavier emphasis on places and buildings), and they are wonderfully sketchy and lively.
The UK based illustrator draws inspiration from places she sees from her travels in the UK and abroad, and from books and films, amongst other things. And she lives in the UK with two imaginary cats named Rufus and Rupert.

Michelle Maule, who is currently residing in Pontiac, Michigan, is selling her original pieces from the Typewriter series on her Etsy store.
The oil paintings are inspired by vintage typewriters; painted and collaged on a solid pine panel that was built in a professional wood shop by her boyfriend. She also has a blog where she writes about her life and art.
