I saw these beautiful images over at El Blog de DMC – the official Spanish blog of the popular brand DMC and I wanted to show you guys the amazing possibilities out there of combining art and craft.
Have you ever thought of stretching beyond your comfort zone and incorporate a bit of the unknown in your work?

I am absolutely smitten by the work of Chuck Groenink
(his shop is on Society6), an illustrator from the Netherlands who has relocated to Portland, USA a year ago. I am most impressed by his use of colors, form and concepts behind his imagery. His work – when seen in a larger scale – has much depth, with visual layers that communicate as a whole. On a much deeper level, his textures, forms and characters shine brilliantly.
This is one man to watch!
Hi there and welcome to Pikaland! This is my personal playground where I write and research about art, creativity, and the pursuit of art entrepreneurship. Enjoy!
