Doilytastic tree!!

I saw these beautiful images over at El Blog de DMC – the official Spanish blog of the popular brand DMC and I wanted to show you guys the amazing possibilities out there of combining art and craft.

Have you ever thought of stretching beyond your comfort zone and incorporate a bit of the unknown in your work?

    Hey Amy
thanks for this post, I’m actually writing my MA paper about using textile and threads in illustration and I’ve been doing quite a bit research by my self plus I am learning to crochet as I want to incorporate that to my illustrations.

If every single tree in every city was covered like that, this world would be a happier place.
