Help Rusty see

Milly of Cutiepie Company alerted me to this news: Two ladies over at periodicstyle.blogspot.com are doing a fund-raising event to help fund for Rusty the dog’s cataract surgery. I have a soft spot for animals in need, so I thought I should pass this on. From Milly:

“She hopes to be able to have a fundraising giveaway on the blog and is looking for etsy and indie designers to donate some of their goods in exchange for being featured on their blog and knowing you helped Rusty the dog see.

So basically a bunch of us etsy sellers responded, and what we are doing is donating an item from each of our shops. Every day there are one or two items listed on the blog. It is free to enter, all one has to do is leave a comment. there is also a link for making a donation to Rusty’s fund, and every donation earns extra entries into the giveaway. So far there are 10 giveaways going on, all of which end on friday.

So basically, I thought it would be wonderful to get some more exposure for this. Hopefully it will help raise money for Rusty. Readers enter simply by commenting on their favorite item from each shop.”

{Thanks Milly! (she contributed this lovely gocco print for the cause.}

Share Some Candy

A few months ago the awesome Reuben invited me to become a contributor to his lovely site called Share Some Candy (or SSC for short). The site is a curated collective of inspiring design finds and art which includes finds that are universally inspiring, beautiful and thought provoking. It was a beautiful idea and simple in execution, and somehow along the way I lost all touch with it (this happened), but I was so glad to have found it again a few weeks ago.

I’m now contributing to the eye candy almost everyday because it can get really addictive! There’s the lovely Yael Miller, the fabulous Erin of Design for Mankind, Yuri Majic, Jan Leenders and now there’s me! I’m so honored to be among these talented bloggers — thank you Reuben!

Anna Wadham

Hi everyone!

I’m currently enjoying the works of Anna Wadham based in Norfolk, UK who is also the illustrator of a book called The Ant and the Big Bad Bully Goat. She has her own Etsy shop that’s filled with limited edition prints of her beautiful artwork (with more to come soon too!)

————————————-

I have only one post for today, as some of you may have noticed that the site was down for almost 6 hours today due to technical issues, but I do have some lovely news coming tomorrow to make up for it!

p/s: Thank you so much for all your comments on the new feature! 🙂
