Mini Bike Notebooks for charity

This is the second post in a week about a charitable effort, but I’m sure you’ll forgive me! Jessica Pollack is an artist based in Providence and together with her boyfriend, Robin, they’re raising money while training hard for a 100 mile bike ride around Lake Tahoe on June 5th. The cause means a lot to the two, since Robin is a cancer survivor and his mother is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

In addition to completing this ride in one day, they are also raising $8,500 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. As part of her fundraising efforts, she’s made these mini bike notebooks to sell, and all proceeds will go directly to LLS along with any prints sold in her Emu Attack Etsy shop from now until May 23rd.

Go Jessica and Robin!

Let sleeping logs lie

Let’s hear it for some hand-painted logs by Matt aka Rabbitportal! I highly doubt that you’ll use them as firewood though, because they’ll have faces on them, and seriously, how can you even think of tossing these cuties into the flames?
