Whenever I travel, I’m sure to pack a lot of maps, and my personal favourites are folded maps because those guys won’t break my back (hauling books around will do that to you). And I were a citizen of the world, I’d be sure to have Zsuzsanna Ilijin’s worldmaps with me!

These 6 maps showcase 6 different themes about language, migration, world-city-skyline, time, rankings and music, and is so, so perfect for the armchair traveler.

I am intrigued by the Melancholic Owl collection by Chad Merritt of Mon Petit Fantome. Who would have thought that owls can be so emo? :O
