The geek in me is reveling in these pretty, fashionable pixel people in Penter Yip’s 8-bit people series! See more of them up close and get yourself a print too if you love pixels!

Bru Sim is one half of Electrolychee – a graphic design and illustration studio based in the Philippines. While their official website shows off the pair’s more graphic works, I’m drawn to Bru’s flickr page instead, where she has quite a collection of artworks that she’s experimenting on. She’s incorporated sewing into her artworks, and so far my favorite has to be her has to be her black and white drawings in India ink and watercolor – her study of textures and form is something to behold!
