So fabulous! Iβd love to win it π
What a beautiful print! I would love to display it in my living room.
Beautiful print indeed! My favorite childhood book was “The Smartest Bear & His Brother Oliver.” Steven Kellogg’s illustrations are the best, I studied them for hours.
so beautiful!
does it include fairy tales? I loved the ugly duckling when I was a child. still waiting to become a swan these days… ah..one day. π
thanks 4 the chance
I don’t think I have just one favorite, but I had a Grimm Tales book that I loved to read and reread. π
Really beautiful, love this one
That print is beautiful! I had a million favorites as a kid but Fritz and the Beautiful Horses by Jan Brett was my absolute favorite. She’s the reason I want to illustrate children’s books!
Absolutely gorgeous works!
My favorite stories were all in my giant book of fairy tales.
Wow… what a gorgeous illustration! Love her work!
This is a very beautiful print. My favortie story as a child
Is about a hard working hen but I forgot what it was called.
so many amazing children’s books…the Pinkerton ( Steven Kellog) ones are great. Of course also In the Night Kitchen.
Lovely piece!
thank you for the chance (:
What a lovely illustration! Here’s hoping! Thanks!
Oh, that’s such a lovely print! I’d sure be happy if I won it!
I loved the story of the three little pigs..but more than the story I think it was the way my mother would modulate her voice and tell the story. Even now when I think of the story, I can hear her voice and the certain way in which she would say things.
Very beautiful print and love her Etsy store…
Oh, it’s beautiful! This would be a perfect gift for my lovely nieces.
When I was little I really loved the Laura Ingalls Wilder books, ‘Little House on the Prairie’ and all those. I think they were the first books I ever stayed up all night to read π
so dreamy.
My favourite children’s story/book is one that I read to my children (often!) and that is Martin Waddell’s ‘Owl Babies’.
beautiful!
This print reminds me of my sister & I. π My favorite story will always be Goodnight Moon.
Beautiful illustrations π
I like it! Very well done.
This print is absolutley devine, so magical and calming to look at. My favourite childrens book is with out a doubt, Sign of the Seahorse by Graeme Base! I still pour over the pages of this book in awe… it sparked my two big loves in life illustration and the fascinating world of the deep. Keep up the inspiring work Megan!
When I was a kid i loved Pippi Longstocking. And I still do.
I was obsessed with the ‘Baby sitters club’ books, they really got you hooked. ‘harry Potter’ is obviously my Favourite. Going back further I used to love ‘The Rainbow fish’ and any books by Janet and Alan Alberg. The list just goes on. At the moment I am reading the ‘Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring’….So hard to read, but really enjoying it. I wish though I had read them before the films came out, but I never even knew they existed till the films came out. Though I have to say there are aspects in the book that are quite different from how it was portrayed in the films, so its like I’m discovering it for the first time.
I love the illustration, would sit beautifully with my collection of prints π
I’m nineteen, but I still read a lot of children’s books. My favorite from childhood is “Be Nice to Spiders,” though I for the life of me can’t remember the author! Hopefully others have also read it? Anyways, this print makes me think of innocence and longing and wonder at the natural world, and I would love to be up in the running for such a beautiful thing. Thanks!
What a beautiful print!
I really loved, and love, reading Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
