I’m 30 today!
It’s funny how time flies – when I was 11 I kept wondering when I would turn 13 and be an official teen-ager. And when I turned 19, I was a little bummed about leaving my teens (hey who doesn’t love the number 1?) Having gone through my 20s though, I can safely say that I am so looking forward to my 30s.
So with this, I’m saying bye-bye to:
- my awkward 20s filled with cliques I could never fit into
- sweaty palms and clumsy kisses
- trying to be hip and cool – I’m resigned to the fact that I’m more of a classics girl
- being anxious about life – I find myself going with the flow these days and losing a lot less hair and sleep
- … and lots more apparently, so it’s safe to say bring it on 30s!
I’ll be out celebrating by tossing some bowling balls around, flexing my muscles at the pool table and having a great dinner with Mr. T. Oh, and I might just extend the celebrations till tomorrow. 🙂
