I loved the story of the three little pigs..but more than the story I think it was the way my mother would modulate her voice and tell the story. Even now when I think of the story, I can hear her voice and the certain way in which she would say things.

This print is absolutley devine, so magical and calming to look at. My favourite childrens book is with out a doubt, Sign of the Seahorse by Graeme Base! I still pour over the pages of this book in awe… it sparked my two big loves in life illustration and the fascinating world of the deep. Keep up the inspiring work Megan!

  30. Anna Searle says:

I was obsessed with the ‘Baby sitters club’ books, they really got you hooked. ‘harry Potter’ is obviously my Favourite. Going back further I used to love ‘The Rainbow fish’ and any books by Janet and Alan Alberg. The list just goes on. At the moment I am reading the ‘Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring’….So hard to read, but really enjoying it. I wish though I had read them before the films came out, but I never even knew they existed till the films came out. Though I have to say there are aspects in the book that are quite different from how it was portrayed in the films, so its like I’m discovering it for the first time.

I love the illustration, would sit beautifully with my collection of prints πŸ˜‰

I’m nineteen, but I still read a lot of children’s books. My favorite from childhood is “Be Nice to Spiders,” though I for the life of me can’t remember the author! Hopefully others have also read it? Anyways, this print makes me think of innocence and longing and wonder at the natural world, and I would love to be up in the running for such a beautiful thing. Thanks!
