The Hundred Dresses Project

I always fail at self-imposed challenges.

So it’s always great to hear about how others have gather their creative ooompah to make this one fantastic project, like Kirsten of Tollipop who is challenging herself to draw a hundred dresses. She will document her process in her blog and she will be selling archival prints of her efforts in her Etsy shop. She’s also inviting everyone to come join her and make their very own project by doing what they want to do (it doesn’t have to be dresses, or even a hundred either!).

love her blog!I am very happy to had the chance to know her work and be inspired by her.

  2. Love that. I once did one hundred buddah drawings. Drawing a hundred of anything, one a day, is a real challenge…it pushes you in new ways.

I am really bad at such challenges as well! I started a project called 365days, I had to take a self-portrait a day for a year, but I gave up half-way.. This is really great though! I took a look at her etsy shop – it’s lovely 🙂 thanks for sharing!

Is this based on the Book “The Hundred Dresses” by Eleanor Estes”? It’s a really sweet story about a girl who makes paper dresses because she can’t afford nice ones.

I thought of that book too! It’s wonderful, I need to find another copy of it soon.
