There has been an absence of posts lately, and there’s a good reason behind this. I’m preparing for the launch of the first edition of the PikaPackage Project, of which I have to iron out a couple of stuff, such as making tags, the zine and a webpage that showcases the participants. I’ve also uploaded the new banners of the participants (you can see their handiwork on the right of the blog!)
I’d like to thank everyone who has shown their support — I never imagined it would get the response it did! The next one will be in July simply because I will be in Japan from 8 May to 8 June for a little time off — but not from the blog! Expect a lot more blogging from me during that period, and as well, I’ll be documenting about my trip! It’s going to be one that’s filled with a lot of creative soul searching, with a lot of sketching and drawing along the way.
For those who have emailed me about the next edition, rest assured I have all your emails with me, but I’m going to see how I can make everything better and to streamline a couple of things before I send out replies. The project is a labor of love — for me, for the participants, and for those who love illustrations and art; I’m so proud to have a place in your heart, as you all do in mine.
