Maurice Sendak on death (and life)

You may remember that I posted about Maurice Sendak on Colbert Report about two weeks ago where he showed his grumpy side.

I still can’t believe he’s gone.

Elijah Wood said it best: “Maurice Sendak has left us for the land of the wild things. May he carry on adventuring.”

  1. What full and rewarding life he lived. A celebration of a wonderful person who gave the world of literature so much. I like to think he lives on through his amazing stories.

  2. Wow. This is a beautiful interview. I have tears running down my face because I know all this. I just haven’t had the courage to really know. Earthshakingly important, to me.
