David Shrigley is one of those people who can make one go “huh” in puzzlement or rip out a roar of laughter in an instant (I’m in the latter category if you’re wondering.)
With that in mind, I am going to be envious of those who get to see his latest exhibition, featuring his special blend of dry wit encapsulated in various forms and format. Of course, I can’t deny that the taxidermy performed on a Jack Russell is a wee disturbing (considering I have two myself), but I’d expect nothing less from David’s dark humor.
Go see it for yourself at the Hayworth Gallery from 1st February to 15 May 2012.
