My obsession with illustrated wedding invites continues!
When I saw Erin Jang’s wedding invites made for Joo and Jacob I couldn’t help but smile. I loved everything: the colour scheme, the quirky handwritten type and how refreshingly simple yet attractive it was.
Of course you knew I wouldn’t stop when I featured the works of Anna Bond here and here before, so don’t count on me stopping anytime soon. I’m on the hunt for good illustrated wedding invites, and I would love to know if you made any (or if you know anyone who does!)

Loving the visuals for The Discontented Bear; a book that’s about a bear who decides to be a bird. Yes, that’s no typo there. The bear decides to be a bird, he’s not wishing to be one!
Drawn by Stephen Daoud who is an Illustrator living in Bristol, the prints for the visuals are available at his Etsy shop. I love the repetition of strokes and the attention to detail, and of course, the fascinating storyline.
Hi there and welcome to Pikaland! This is my personal playground where I write and research about art, creativity, and the pursuit of art entrepreneurship. Enjoy!
