I’m trying to remember this.
In between running Pikaland, taking on freelance projects and cooking up new projects for Pikaland (yes, you read that right!) I sometimes stop to remind myself that I have only two pairs of hands, which means that I need to prioritize and to simplify things, processes and life in general.
I’ve been thinking a lot about focus these days, and realizing the importance of making a deliberate choice of focusing my strengths, goals and how I am going about to achieve them. I’ve taken to dissecting ideas down to their core, eliminating the unnecessary, and I make sure that I devote my time to people who I care about and who care about me in return.
And best of all, while I may not be able to do everything, having a bit of help does tremendous things to the spirit. I’ve added another pair of hands to Pikaland and all I can say is that I’m excited at where things are going. Aiming for the stars seems less daunting when you have others who believe in your vision and is supporting you along the way.
