Erd Yakingun is the illustrator and designer behind I Am An Octopus. Erd is a recent tentacle clad grad from East London who is “freelancing his way into the creative world.”
I’ll get straight to the point of this post: I love Erd’s style and fun attitude in his art. Can someone please hook him up with some work? We’re the Internet! We can make it happen.

I’m in love with these animations by Overture , a wife and husband duo made up of Aya and Jason Brown. According to their site “we are two dreamers letting our thought waves overlap and mingle to realize the ideas and goals of our own imagination as well as those of the wonderful folks we work with.”
Everything about them is poetic.
OMG. I DIED when I saw one of these furry things by Mexican illustrator Luis Silva on the front page of Society6 the other day. Don’t you just want to hug one?
