Ric Stultz

Ric Stultz is having a solo show at Hot Pop in Milwaukee from now until July 24th. There’s 70 paintings total, and you can see more pictures of his exhibition here.

I love his latest work done with gouache, gesso and ink on paper, which you can see on his website – normal, everyday objects are “humanized” in a way — and this is my favourite piece, titled Remembering Your Smile.

Leigh Bullard

Loving the prints of Leigh Bullard’s girls, of which the originals were done with acrylic & watercolor. She hails from Denver, Colorado and maintains a blog where you can see a lot of her work, which also includes beautiful photography.

She was on Dujour Magazine (no wonder her work looks familiar!), and you can read more about her from her interview with Ofifteen Magazine.

Clare Bowers

Ask anyone who knows me and they’ll tell you that I am drawn by round objects, organic lines and fluid shapes. But these days I’m starting to see the beauty of sharp edges and points, like those on the paintings and collages of Clare Bowers.

Another plus point (pun so intended)? Her work has glitter and is shiny!
