Have you seen Matte Stephen’s new prints? They’re so lively and jaunty!

It could be me is a project exploring possibility of one artist occupying another’s space. It is a visual adventure and an interpretation of the same sentence by different artists worldwide. Organized by Paul Paper, my favourite so far has to be by Andrea Posada Escobar and Rebecca Trawick. See the whole collective here.

The project was started late last year, and I’ve been meaning to participate (hence the delay in posting!) But since I never got round to doing it I totally forgot about the website! I’m glad I stumbled on it again though, because it’s now filled with works by numerous other artists and I love how different artists interpret the theme differently.

Nancy of Pretty Little Thieves has a friend whose father recently and suddenly lost his life to Acute Moncytic Leukemia. This friend of hers made a promise to herself to do whatever she could to help raise funds for research for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Nancy is joining her fundraising efforts by dedicating a section in her shop called DRAWING FOR A CURE. She’ll be posting up original drawings, each costing USD15, with $10 of each sale going directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The fund raising campaign will end on June 3rd, and her drawings are selling quick, so if you ever wanted to get an original drawing from this lovely lady, now’s a great time to do so!
