I think Julia Pott’s work is heart-breakingly funny and wonderfully edgy. The UK-based illustrator just recently opened up her Etsy shop and is now selling her prints and zines. I like her idea for her full color zine that documented the process of her funky film, My First Crush.
She also has another zine that was featured on Book By It’s Cover called Oh Dear that revolves around people and suburbia done over the course of year. The recently unemployed illustrator also has a blog with TONS of illustrations that make me go ooh and aah. She’s also working on a music video with more new characters, and her short Film My First Crush is now nominated for the Best Short Film Award on YouTube! Click HERE to knock some votes her way!
I’m loving this cute beaver illustration on a bag found in Maki Squarepatch’s shop.
