The PikaPackage Zine!

Interested to know more about the participants for this round of the PikaPackage Project? Well, you’re in luck — we’ve gathered all of them for a quick chat about themselves, and among the questions I’ve thrown into the mix were what kind of superpowers they’d like to have! 😉

(The only exception was for Heike of Felicitate88 who didn’t manage to get back to us in time.) She’s in! 🙂

Carla Pessoa

Carla Pessoa is a Portuguese crafter who dabbles a lot in drawing on her blog and she has her own shop too, where she sells her art-infused crafty creations (here’s looking at you Kajsa!)

I rediscovered her flickr pages again last week and I am in love with her illustrations which are mostly collage based.

Sandra Krumins

Rollerskating Friends print

I am fascinated with linocut art, and up until now I only thought it was a very straightforward affair — carve, ink and print. But Sandra Krumins of Lino Creative on Etsy wowed me over with her linocut illustrations that combines painting and digital techniques. Her illustration has a collage-like feel to it too, which I love.

Coffee Cups print; Cats and Dogs print

My favourite one is her Rollerskating Friends print — so lively, and you can’t beat a bunch of animals hanging out with skating shoes on!

You can read her blog and also peruse her portfolio here.
