A-twittering!

Day 12 of le grand tour

I just got Twittered, and if you think you didn’t have enough of me (and Pikaland, I might add), you can always follow me around via my Twitter feeds.

You know what else I’m digging right now? Gemma’s illustrated diary on her vacation to the states in 2007. You should see it over on her Flickr set. I think everyone’s travel diary should look like this.

Oh, and I’ve uploaded the first round of the participants for the August PikaPackage Project up in Flickr, and will put it up here in the blog tomorrow once I’ve cleaned up the backend of the site it’s done! Everyone’s packages are pouring in nicely, so you’ll get glimpses when the time draws nearer. 😉

Happy Monday, people!

Kelly Lynn Jones: A New Frontier

The awesome Kelly Lynn Jones is one of the awesome-mest peoples I have had the privilege to “meet” online. She just moved to San Francisco, and brought Little Paper Planes along with her!

Along with the big move, she is also having a solo exhibition at Little Bird Gallery, where I thought the title of her exhibition to be very apt indeed.

It starts next Saturday, so if you’re in LA, don’t forget to drop by! (boo-hoo me!)

Principles of Uncertainty

I finished Maira Kalman’s fabulously illustrated book: Principles of Uncertainty a few weeks ago. I’m not sure if this was your response as well, but I was chuckling all the way! And this I just remembered because I was sorting out my list of books on LibraryThing, (you can see my library here) and I had to let you know what I think of it.

On another note, because I can’t seem to find an invite for FFFFOUND, i went over to Visualize instead. If you have an extra invite for FFFFOUND to spare, well, you now know who wants one. 😉

Oh, and you can read an interview with John Martz of the fabulous DRAWN! website over at Design Inspiration.

Hope you all are having a great weekend!
