PikaPackage October update #5

Here’s hoping you all you had a great weekend, and are having a lovely Monday right now — I’m going to be fast asleep in an hour, so think of me as an elf leaving behind great things to look at (hopefully!)

And with one more update to go before the launch, here’s one of the last updates for the October package:

  1. Helen of Zuk Zuk sent in her bright and happy prints;
  2. Francesca of Mrs. Eliot’s Books sent in lovely prints, correspondence sets and cards;
  3. Candace Jean sent in beautiful and delicate, full sized prints of her illustrations and paintings;
  4. Dura aka i.itch.illustrations sent in colorful characters and original paintings from The Fashion Forest;
  5. Milly of the Cutiepie Company sent in a fun exclusive gocco print, button packs and card sets;
  6. Stacy Kathryn Holst sent in prints of her paintings, along with her illustrated cards;
  7. Manyi of MAU Studio sent over ACEOs of a new ninja character, along with other stickers and goodies;
  8. Cara of Sew Bettie sent over sample fabric swatches of her very own designed fabric which are limited editions; and
  9. Violeta Gau sent in ingenius little collage pieces for you to put together your own story (along with a bookmark!), and each collage packet is uniquely handmade!

You can have a look at the full set of images over on our Flickr stream!

I’ve been spending the weekend coding something new for the shop, so that’s been adding a little more grief to my schedule. Once that’s done though, I think you all will like the new interface as it will streamline the shop and make everything neater, hurrah! I have put off some of my email correspondences on hold until this is done, so if you haven’t heard from me, you will very soon!

Remember to sign up for our mailing list to be the first to know when the giveaway begins (not too long now!) and when this round of packages are up for sale (the ones currently in the shop are from our August participants)!
(yes, the broken record has sounded again!)

Amy Blackwell

If you haven’t already fallen in love with Amy Blackwell’s colorful animal characters, I’d suggest you hop on over to her shop right this instant to see what you have been missing. We’ve profiled her prints before right here, and you’ll be chipper to know that she sent in those adorable characters of hers for the October round!

Naomi Shiek

I can detect a slight fascination with deers over from the beautiful illustrations and work done by Naomi of The Time is Now. Her illustrations are cheery, bright and fresh — including her original art pieces in the Folklore Demons series!

She sent in specially made prints called Teenage Deer, specially housed in her individually hand-drawn envelopes!
