Mrs. Eliot’s Books is the shop of Francesca, an artist and illustrator who makes little wooden books, prints, cards and original collage pieces from the north London flat she shares with her husband and little boy. I love the patterns that surround her work, as well as the colors that go with them.

I love the delicate ladies featured in Candace Jean’s drawings, along with cute characters that sometime makes an appearance! Her ladies also have a story to tell too, which makes them all the more fascinating.

I was so suprised to learn that Dura of i.itch illustrations hails from Malaysia too — and we’re living in the same city! She makes these great paper/cardboard dolls that are characters from the Fashion Forest. Her work has been featured before on Blanket Magazine too!
