To share!

Miss Gemma Correll is at it again, and this time she and her posse called Girls Who Draw that includes Clare Power (Bogus baby), Jess Bradley, Gemma Correll, Currentstate (aka Jane Anderson), Zoë Darnell (Mmm…Biscuits!), Yee Ping Kuit, Yee Ting Kuit, Tanya Meditzky, Karoline Rerrie, and Sarah Ray, made a postcard set called the Misfits Postcard Book filled with all their wonderful work.

Lisa Johnston is holding an online sale of her bird drawings exclusively through her site! This is the first of her quarterly online art sale — each of them are one-of-a-kind, silkscreened monoprint on 3/4 birch plywood, with 42 pieces to choose from.

And thank you to Gaia for letting me know of a special giveaway of her beautiful cards just in time for Christmas. Her illustrations are adorable, and you can also have a look around her shop too!

Fontaine Anderson

Fontaine Anderson is an illustrator based in Adelaide, South Australia and I’ve been clicking through her drawings for almost an hour! Her drawings are beautifully textured, with very fine details — I love her subtle color palette too and admire how she makes certain images pop just by using the right amount of color.

I can’t tell you very much, but I know that she is inspired by her dreams, Japanese textiles, Egyptian gods, 1980’s clip art, fashion and music, and these elements are quite evident in her work.

You can also order a print from her shop where all her work from her portfolio can be made into one. I’m hoping her blog will be up soon!

KupKupLand

If you’ve never stepped into KupKupLand, I suggest a trip up there stat. The main man there, KupKup (of course) is living the life. His maker Kima makes all sorts of wonderful things — there’s lovely 3-D pincushions of his wonderful place, beautiful prints and fantastic collages that’s sure to make you want to wrap yourself up in felt!

A read at her blog and a browse through her flickr stream is sure to chase the blues away (perfect for those who abhor Mondays!)
