As I write this I have come to realize that I can’t really decide alone about a certain topic that has been on my mind for the past few weeks.
Remember that I sent out a call to participate for the June PikaPackage — for limited edition art? And here’s the thing: I have contacted NO ONE AT ALL because of a few issues that have been lingering in my mind. I’m terribly sorry to those who have written, but have not received a reply — trust me when I say that I still have all your emails and I am frozen. And this is because I am at a crossroads with the PikaPackage Project. Why the change? Well, I’ll tell you what’s been swirling in my mind so that you can help me make a better decision.

Beautiful work by Teri Chung, an illustrator based in New York. She took a detour after graduating in illustration from Parsons in 2003 into fashion, but is now revisiting her first love once again.
She just opened her Etsy shop and I’m loving her work so far — you can definitely see the influence of fashion in her drawings, which are mostly done in watercolor and ink. You can read more about her journey on her blog.

I’m sorry to have left Pikaland’s readers in the lurch these past few days, but I’m happy to let you know that I’m back and refreshed from an impromptu trip —- I’ve just come home after being away for a few days with Mr. T — visiting friends and just walking about in another city sure does wonders!
