apt. 3305

I’m apartment hunting…and it sucks. So I though I’d post some images by the lovely Lisa Chow of Apt. 3305 to remind myself that home is where you should feel comfortable, safe, and loved. And more importantly, you can feel comfortable, safe, and loved anywhere, anytime. Be your own anchor.

Chick Lit

I’m feeling a little under the weather (which explained my blogging absence on Friday), but I did manage to sneak in a short post on my Pikaland Artist Bootcamp co-creator and teacher Jamie Shelman’s new venture called Chick Likes Meatballs. You see, little chick likes stories and Jamie’s inviting people to send in images of your favorite children’s books — plus the reason why you picked it — to share with him.

I’m the first one up and the book I chose was Ruth Krauss’ I Can Fly, illustrated my Mary Blair. You can read my whole entry on the Chick Likes Meatballs blog!

{Thanks for the invite Jamie!}
