Down for the count

Get well soon card by JulieAnna

I’ve been trying to hold it together for a few days now, but it’s official — I’m sick. My tummy hurts and so does the rest of my body, so it’s safe to say that the only place that I should be is in bed, and not in front of the computer! So while I take a day or two to recover, I’m leaving you with a couple of links to previous articles in case you’ve missed some of it (and boy do we have lots of exciting things happening here lately!):

  • For those of you who’s complained about not seeing my work around much, well, have a look at this collaboration I recently did!

I hope to be up and at ‘em as soon as possible, so in the meantime, stay strong and eat your greens — I’ll catch you back here in a few days!

Lym Moreno

Venezuelan artist Lym Moreno is currently living in Vienna, and she is behind all these fantastic paper works! She takes inspiration from around her to create fictional characters, all expressed via paper-cut sceneries, illustrations, stop motion animations and also street-paintings under her pseudonym Mosta.

Love the feel of her website, and how she incorporated her paper cutting style to her navigation bar as well. Have a look see at her portfolio!

Chronic Bitchface

Chronic Bitchface

While the term chronic bitchface coined by Kris Atomic made me laugh out loud, I do identify with what she’s saying! I tend to wrinkle my eyebrows and look pissed off when I’m deep in thought when I was younger (I still do, but I catch myself when I feel those brow furrows come on.)

If you’re one of us, then you need to scoot over to her shop and get yourself a print at Kris Atomic’s shop.
