PikaPackage July Update #5

Ah, I’m so happy that you all liked the banner (commenters & emailers, you know who you are!) — I too am giddy with happiness just by looking at it!

And as we continue our round of contributors for the July edition of the PikaPackage Project, we have these lovely participants:

  1. Rebecca Hahn sent in a beautiful print called “Hey!”, and fabulous letterpress & satin-finish postcards;
  2. Kate Phillips of Charmfoundry sent in beautiful prints (including limited edition mini-prints);
  3. Ana of Fric De Mentol sent in a bevy of stuff! We have her lovely Gocco-printed prints and cards, notebooks and even a posey packet!
  4. Natasha Mileshina of Bubbo Tubbo sent in specially put together Travel Edition sets of her handmade originals, along with cheery cards + sticker sets!

Things are looking fabulous — and we have 40 shops involved with the project this time round — and I’ll be showing the last three tomorrow! 🙂 Please have a look and read up on the participants on our PikaPackage Project page!

The giveaway is very, VERY near, so you can sign up for our mailing list to know exactly when it’s up.

Well looky here…

A work in progress!

A few years ago, I had this epiphany — that I could cut my hair a different style everytime I went to a stylist. Heck, I could even go to a different stylist everytime (which was what I did, up until now). Because I know one thing. Hair grows back. And it’s fun to see what other peeps can do.

What does this have to do with what I’m supposed to announce?

Well, for one thing — the lovely miss GEMMA CORRELL (and her fabulously illustrated blog) was the first one to design Pikaland’s spanking new banner — which will change on an almost monthly basis with a different illustrator, or it could even be two months before it happens again — it depends, really, because I LOVE IT! (I have a tendency to prolong a good haircut as well, but I digress….)

Thank you so much Gemma — you’re a superstar!
