Thank you Jamie Tao for a little hand drawn typographic pick me up! I feel much better now! Do you use positive affirmations or quotes to help you deal?

Absolutely gorgeous linework by Will Scobie, an illustrator based in the south of England who has done work for clients like MTV and Nola Pictures. His work is based around the idea of the continuous line, which you can see very clearly on his portfolio.
Also, see pages upon pages from his sketchbook via his flickr stream.

Jenny Mendes’ ceramic sculptures are characters unto themselves – one look at them and you can almost picture them talking and coming to life (like on the telly!) She’s a full time artist based in Ohio, and she offers giclee prints for sale in her Etsy shop that are prints of her original terra sigillata painting on a clay tile. She’ll return in February with more ceramic works, so until then you can see a collection of her wall birds here.
{Thanks Yael!}
