Mike Lowery’s printed fabric

Argyle academy

I’m digging Mike Lowery of Argyle Academy’s fun and huge (they’re 42” x 42”) printed fabric. Great to be hung anywhere in the house, I liken them to fabric posters – and best of all, these won’t leave you with papercuts!

They are on backorder, so it’s best to contact him directly or scope out his shop for updates if you want one. Did I mention that it’s washable too? No? Well now you know!

Sponsor giveaway: Cloudy Collection

Cloudy Collection is the brainchild of David Huyck, an illustrator, designer, and artist based in Moscow, ID. The project produces a set of 6 letterpress prints every three months or so and with it, a new theme and a gang of new collaborators. The project was born out of his love of letterpress and instead of going it alone, he invited his friends to take part and the Cloudy Collection has produced 7 editions so far since 2009!

UPDATE: 24th November
Their most recent edition is called Bunches, Crowds, Clusters, Piles & Knots going to be called Simple and will only be released on 1st December. Best of all, a percentage of the sales of the Cloudy Collection print sets will be donated to The Nature Conservancy, an international organization devoted to saving wild, untouched, and rehabilitated natural places for future generations.

We have a fun package of the entire 2010 editions up for grabs for ONE lucky commenter (that’s three FOUR different print sets worth USD$35 each, including their yet-to-be-released print set!), and another lucky commenter will get the latest print collection, Bunches, Crowds, Clusters, Piles & Knots Simple worth USD$35.

Just leave your comment — say hello, write out a rhyme, anything at all — for a chance at winning! Winners will be picked out after 30th November.

*UPDATE: Commenting has now closed, thanks so much for participating. The winner of this giveaway is Jesseline G. & Melanie Martin!
