I am a fan of Jennifer Judd McGee of Swallowfield’s work because of her fearless palette. I have a good reason for this — it’s because I am freaked out by my lack of coloring skills, and also love how she incorporates beautiful colors into her work. Besides illustrations, she also does mixed media collages, which I think are fantastic too; and her works are inspired by her coastal surroundings in Maine.
She sent in her beautiful, colorful prints for August’s PikaPackage Project!

Ella Collier of Fantasmagoric is a Canadian artist who particularly enjoys being influenced by ridiculously silly children’s stories, shapes, animals with attitude, nature, European and Japanese illustration and “strange” music.
For this round of the PikaPackage Project, she contributed a few of her popular cards, and loads of original hand-drawn magnets (that’s done on an existing magnet, haha!) I love her sense of humor!
Hi there and welcome to Pikaland! This is my personal playground where I write and research about art, creativity, and the pursuit of art entrepreneurship. Enjoy!
