Jen Corace at My Love for You…

It’s a bright and cheery Sunday, and I’m just popping in to let you all know about this fabulous interview that Meighan did with Jen Corace over at her blog. Jen is one of my favourite artists and I have been waiting for this interview with bated breath since 2008!

Read more about her creative process and also see more images from her new book Hansel and Gretel with Cynthia Rylant over at My Love for You is a Stampede of Horses.

{Hurrah Meighan!}

PikaPackages on the road!

Last month I sent a HUGE package over to Tomoko at About Glamour — a very special place that not only has a gallery, but also a select shop and hair salon based in Brooklyn; and that package contained several PikaPackages from July, August and October’s round (a random mix) for the gallery’s Artists Shop Exhibition that will run until 25th January. Please head on over to the gallery if you’re in the area for a peek!

Have a great weekend everyone! And before I leave you to go off gallivanting over the weekend, do remember to head on over to Dawanda for the ongoing competition!

Ande Cook

Would you look at the amazing colors and patterns of Ande Cook’s art? I’m loving how animals and nature are the focus of her work (she professes her love for the beautiful North Georgia wilderness in her blog so it’s no surprise at all!)

She’s also illustrated several children’s books, event posters, cards, and museum catalogs. Her client list also includes Atlanta Magazine, the Atlanta Braves, Harcourt-Brace, Readers Digest; the High Museum of Art, Emory University and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
