Mogutakahashi is an illustrator based in Tokyo, Japan. I love the fact that her characters have a squishy-like quality to them, and also, I love the cheery color palette!
Her work reminds me of Doinky Doodles, whom I absolutely love – so much silliness and generally happy goods that will brighten up your life that little bit more.
For all you bird lovers out there, you will love this indeed.

I have been a Greek mythology geek for as long as I can remember. It started when my mom bought me a ton of books and encyclopedia that talks about Medusa and Zeus, or his wife Hera and also of Persephone. I also remember the illustrations that went with each story; the opening of Pandora’s box, and the whole 50-strong Argonauts setting sail to find Jason’s golden fleece.
So it was wonderful to chance upon Joe Rowell’s Etsy shop where he has illustrated a series of work on Greek mythology while in London. It sure does make me want to read up on all the gods and goddesses all over again!
