Laughing out loud at the work and descriptions of these paintings by John Malta, an illustrator and zine maker who is currently residing in New York as he completes an MFA at the School of Visual Arts. Check out his online shop for some collectible rad stuff (loving those necklaces!)

Initiated by Jennifer Causey, the Makers Project is a collection of photographs that details the people behind the products. Beautiful photographs, quick interviews and simply very inspiring, I can’t wait for more makers to be revealed on the project. The two photographs above are of Lena Corwin’s studio (view the slideshow here).
