I find lines to be extremely hypnotic at times. Especially when they are drawn in detail with a repetitive stroke, like the prints of Virginia Kraljevic who is based in New York.
She draws her finely detailed drawings with a technical pen, and has an Etsy shop too. My favourite prints from her shop are the ones that are abstract in nature, such as this and this.
I really like the top one. It reminds me of hair, but in a good way, if that makes any sense.
Love her Birdie Boat print, so detailed but simple with just the black lines.
