Wayside Motel, from the Route 66 series of photographs
By day, Amy Henderson is a graphic designer for her very own studio, and by night, she runs Aqua Velvet, where she sells her illustrations and photographs; and Studio Morphologie where she combines her love of jewelry, illustration + photography.
Currently, her shop is featuring a lot of 1950’s themed works — illustrations and photographs that was inspired by an extensive and fantastic road trip out west and her years living in New Mexico. She sent in wonderful prints of her illustration from the collection, which you can see more here.
My gosh, that photograph is so cool.. I need some serious sun here in Kyoto and start taking cool pics like that. Its supposed to rain almost all week!
