rebekka seale

This post is probably going to sound uber creeper of me (but I don’t care). I kind of wish I was friends with Nashville artist Rebekka Seale. Once I stumbled onto her blog Dear Friend, Dear Friend, I felt like I wanted to dial her number on an antique Victorian phone so we could get together for the afternoon to make artwork while baking cookies and drinking homemade lemonade. Now I want to type her a letter asking her why her Etsy is empty? It made me so sad!

I completely agree about our “dear friend” (who I have not met but recently started “following”. I have this feeling like when I stumble upon other artists who have this whimsical, joyful skill with composition and design complimented by an obvious love of this beautiful earth through an artful celebration of creatures & nature. So here’s to your honest post & to people who appreciate – out loud – like you. Rebekka’s work and (seemingly) her personality are just lovely. And that goes for you, too – Amy!
