Gorgeous vignettes by Nanae Kawahara — an artist originally from Japan who is currently working in the UK after completing her MA from the Camberwell College of Arts. I love the innocence and abandon in her work — it’s almost child-like and yet perfectly structured so that it maintains a degree of surprise, especially since her characters have so much… well, character. Don’t let the happy colors of her illustrations fool you though; beneath it all lies something that’s hidden from view.
