Norway-born, Berlin based artist Hanne Ulla has an interesting concept to her illustrations — I really dig that she’s exploring the visual cues and codes that are found in daily life and weaves them into her work.
I’m particularly drawn to her last resort series where she explores the intersections between civilization, environmental issues and identity.
From her website:
Her series of imaginary bathrooms and bath houses, grouped together in different dystopic scenarios, functions like a collection of ambiguous short stories, where each drawing reveals a detail of a fragmented plot that the viewer struggles to make any sense of.
Having said that, here’s a glimpse of what it may be like in the future.
AMAZING!!!!!
