My in-laws are in town this week, so the past few days were packed with running errands and dashing about. So you’ll have to forgive me for not doing my regular book review today! But I do have something that I’d like you to check out: the lovely Meighan of My Love for You has organized a Gulf Restoration fundraiser where 87 artists has donated works for sale. One hundred percent of the sale of the items in the shop will go to the Gulf Restoration Network’s cause of clearing the Gulf’s current oily mess.
As the shop will only be up till 12pm PST, 5th July, there’s only a few remaining items left in there! To make your life easier, I’ve made a short list of my favorites that still remain:

What, Oil, Where? by Lisa Romero

Unlovable print by Esther Pearl Watson

The Three Moths by Annie Koelle
Have a great 4th of July weekend and I’ll see you all next week!

This is fantastic. I read about this in Booooooom. Great artworks for a great cause!
Speaking of causes, Amy, you should check out a A Beautiful Idea: http://www.beautifulidea.us…
It’s a good way for other artists and etsy sellers to help charities since most of Pikaland’s readers are also etsy sellers. I don’t think they don’t have The Gulf Restoration Network in their list though.
those are all beautiful works + it was such a great idea for a fundraiser!
